"Sunshine lover, how I missed you terribly these last few months," she said to the delightfully warm afternoon. Grabbing her sunglasses and a favourite CD she had just rediscovered, the girl got into her Truck and headed out to pick up her beloved dog from the parents' place. She let the windows slide down a bit and turned up the volume on the stereo.
I see you comb your hair and gimme that grin
It's making me spin now, spinnin' within
Before I melt like snow, I say hello -- how do you do
--Roxette, How do you do!
She strongly felt that the lyrics, though mostly nonsensical, were perhaps the most alluring words she had heard since that morning, when someone, of a very charming nature, simply said, "hello."
She let the song play through as she sang and gestured along. Then she played it again.
And again.
And again.
And again, until she arrived at her destination.
Yes, it was, another lovely, lovely day in JillVille.
I think I will revisit that day again today. I'm feelin' good.
