- The heat of the afternoon sun and the hot summer nights that follow
- Being able to go out with friends and get to the destination in under 10 minutes.
- Walking my dog through the forest two blocks from my house.
- Seeing deer and rabbits that aren’t behind bars or being eaten by a large feline on said walk
- Being able to break out into a run on said walk and to clap along when favourite song comes on mp3 player without a soul around to see how ridiculous I look (The Dandy Warhols, We Used to Be Friends. You try to listen to it without wanting to dance even a little)

Good points. Plus people there know what tuques are.
On the other hand, it doesn't take 2 hours to get to a beach here :p
You can get to the beach in less than 2 hours here. You could probably get to one in an hour. To get to mine it's about 90 minutes and the first 30 are spent getting out of the city. Too bad we can't see the sand all year though.
