Giving my green to America's Black Friday

I was again very generous this year to the economy of Albertville, MN.

I would like to highlight a purchase that cannot be ignored, forgotten, or misplaced. They are skinny leg jeans in the colour of the Nintendo Duck Hunt gun, and much to my surprise, they go with a lot of tops.

Amara, here are the snap shots of today's purchases. They are blurry because I took them with my iPod because my camera is dead.

I know they are hiding in amongst the stuff, but do note the bright orange jeans I picked up for $35 at Kenneth Cole.

All of these items coordinate with above mentioned orange jeans

Tommy Hilfiger. The cardigan is particularly cute because of the bows on the sleeves.

A running jacket by Nike. My first purchase and less than $30

I came for boots, I found boots. $75ish and not of man made materials.

My annual stocking up on the long-sleeved Gap outlet t-shirts.
All this happy shopping makes yesterday's nightmare drive in the ice and snow a fuzzy memory. It was hairy. I felt like I was driving a curling rock. We lost count of the number of cars that had spun out off the road. At one point, just after I had learned that braking would send the car into a slide, I saw a spun out car and I very nearly threw up from the stress of it all. Today though the sun came out for a spell and I got to wear my sunglasses. I should probably always keep them handy now whenever I wear those blazing orange jeans of mine.
