My mom and dad are very close to home again after a month of being on the road. For the first two weeks of that time I was with them, laughing, barbecueing, eating, drinking, like a good ol' fashioned family vacation. When it was time for me to go home my dad drove me to the Kelowna airport. He gave me a hug good bye and said, "I'll miss you, kid", which kind of made me cry.
I'm 30 years old and I miss my mom and dad. Yup. Can't wait till they get home on Wednesday.
