My mom made me veggie burgers (with no hidden agenda cheese) and a vegan apple pie today. Even though I am 29 and far beyond my temperamental, experimental teen years, she goes along with my whims. It is because of her that I can keep my youthful curiosity and spirit. The Grand Canyon filled ten times over could not hold my gratitude for this gift.
Also, my dad fixed my heaved patio blocks today so I let him drink the beer in my fridge.
(If you filled the Grand Canyon 10 time over with beer, you'd just have a lot of drunk dads.)

It is easier to accept your whims now than if you had tried them while still living at home during your teen years. I will also stand by you, no matter what, that's what mothers are for.
