"What did I just do?" she asked.

I got a phone call today that, I believe, changed my life. I was given an opportunity and asked to make a decision on the spot. After I made my decision, I texted Lisa to ask her if I was crazy.

(Side note, you may see me refering to "texting" with more frequency now since I just joined the new millennium and signed up for unlimited text messaging. Since I will be spending my birthday in the far off land of New York City, I wanted to be sure I had a fiscally responsibly way to communicate with my peeps back home. Assuming of course that I manage to remember to carry my phone and keep it charged. You know how I am with these things.)

Lisa, who is away in Victoria for the next three weeks, told me I was not crazy. Still, the moment kind of gave me a chill. I thought about some of the other decisions I've made recently that involved choosing one path over another. Geeze, I've agonized longer about buying a pair of shoes than I have about some of the major decisions I've made lately. I'm not crazy, I'm plain ridiculous.

Do you really think I can tell you here?

Why post about it if we're not supposed to ask? That's just being a tease. :P
