Vancouver 2010 here I come

On the weekend Lisa and I were talking about our lack of natural abilities for sports. I try not to let that get in the way of trying something for fun, but I can imagine that the fun factor comes in a lot sooner when you can try something out and get the hang of it on the first, second or even third try.

I think I found my sport. It's snow drift hurdling. It's a timed race that requires you to sprint and hop drifts for various distances. The twist is you are also carrying a large, heavy recycling box, and/or bag of garbage. The attire is yellow, flannel pants, often with a large, fun print such as penguins. Mitts and jackets are for training only. Oh, and yes, this is definitely a spectator friendly sport.

Don't ask me where I come up with this stuff.

for Kasia. Happy morning.
