New take on an old piece of advice

Kat sent this link around at work today. It's a new test on an old question: are you left brain or right brain dominant? This time the test is in the form of a spinning lady, pivoting on her left foot. Which way does she turn, clockwise, or counter clockwise?

Go here to take the test.

I say she's going clockwise. Clearly, how can she be turning any other way? Apparently, this means I am right brain dominant:

RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses feeling
"big picture" oriented
imagination rules
symbols and images
present and future
philosophy & religion
can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
believes
appreciates
spatial perception
knows object function
fantasy based
presents possibilities
impetuous
risk taking

Okay, sure, I'm a creative sort. But I have some left brain skills--math and science, strategic, practical--so I should be able to see it both ways, right? But I can't! And this really upsets me! Left brain, wake up! I need you too! I squint and I stare and I...

...Wait, I just did it! I tilted my head to the right and looked at her kind of upside down. YES! Left brain there you are! Oh how you had me worried. Wow! This is almost as amazing as when Superman flew around the world super fast so he could reverse the rotation of the Earth and turn back time.

So there you go. Feel like you can't see something any other way? Turn your head. Try looking at it literally from a different point of view to let the other side of your brain take a crack at it.

Ok, it's 100% bogus. If you watch it long enough, the leg slowly lowers and then reverses direction and raises it back up.

I've seen it both ways. Actually I saw it go one way and a coworker saw it go the other way on the same screen at the same time, so I don't think it changes.

Vince, I thought this was your specialty... apparently there are frames missing, and the mind fills in the blanks (that's what I read anyways)

I saw it going clockwise.... then I saw it going counter clockwise.... when I moved my mouse over it. ;)
