Small Victories

Success in Pilates today. We've been working on this new pose called Front Splits. It's hard to describe unless you're familiar with Pilates equipment. I tried searching for a picture but could only find this, which is the prep pose to the actual pose. In the actual pose you're standing up, not hanging on to that bar, with your arms out to the side for balance, like this. Then you try to spread your legs out like in the first picture. Anyway, I stretched pretty far today! It was awesome! I also planked for a minute and 45 seconds. I wanted to go longer but Kerry told us to come up. Maybe it was the James Brown music that inspired me.

I just had to celebrate.
