Share a little heart

Does anyone know what Wednesday, February 14 is? If you guessed Valentine's Day, you're only half right. It's also Random Acts of Kindness day as part of RAK week, which kicks off on Monday, February 12.

To honour the week I intend to carry out several acts of kindness, random and otherwise. I will give one of these paper hearts to anyone I commit kindness for to help spread the word.

I also want to issue a challenge to all my readers to make a conscious effort to do something kind for a friend, relative or stranger. From giving up your seat on the bus to washing your mom's car--if you do something, I want to hear about it. It doesn't matter how small the gesture or to whom you direct your kindness, just as long as your heart is in the right place. I'll keep you posted on my own efforts. Naturally, I'm working on a media blitz...
