I believe in a thing called love

Feelin' the love yesterday I decided to decorate my space at work. Last year for the week of Valentine's day I cut out a bunch of hearts in different sizes and colours and stuck them up in my cube. Just because I don't have a valentine doesn't mean I can't enjoy the holiday.

"Whoa, it's like walking into a grade three classroom!"
--Michael, when he walked into my cube this afternoon.

See more lovely visuals of my decorating here.

Cool.. I had some wicked decorations from Christmas... I didn't take any photos though, but I still have fake snow all around my cube.. And my lights are still up at home... And a a tree..

As I said in last year's V-day blog, there hasn't been this much love in the air since Christmas--the day deserves to be recognized.

I decorated for Christmas too, but not with as much colour. The focus was around a coppery/orange ball that matches Truck and a collection of miniature disco balls. Really, it wasn't as tacky as it sounds...

Oh but the best part of Jill's Christmas at the Office experience was December 22. I brought in my favourite Christmas TAPE--a mix of local bands doing rocking versions of the traditional favourites--borrowed a hand held tape recorder/player, and circulated the office with my festive joy. Head banging to Hark the Herald Angels Sing, that's my Christmas.
