Truck and I had a fight
Truck and I had a fight yesterday morning. I was going to take Car but she wouldn’t start. Truck was ready to go without too much convincing. I had to scrape the windows though and I couldn’t do a very good job because I can’t reach very well. I really needed to work at it to clear the frost and I just didn’t have enough of a fulcrum to work with. So my visibility was not great. Then, the doors would not shut properly. I tried several times but it kept telling me the door was ajar. First the passenger door wouldn’t close tightly and then I think I got it, but then the driver’s door wouldn’t close. So then the interior light doesn’t want to go off. Eventually it does but then when I would stop in traffic it would come back on cuz it thought that I was getting out. I stopped at Petro on Portage and gave it $40 again. I tried to reset the odometer but it would not let me. It went through all these options like English, Miles, Oil (?). So I gave up and just wrote the mileage on the bill. The gas cap was being finicky too. Anyway, when I got back in, the doors all seem satisfactorily shut. I found my parking spot; put the club on (made the mistake of grabbing it tightly without mitts on and subsequently lost feeling in my fingers and thumbs). Truck and I seemed to be on better terms by 5:00. Maybe I will take him to the carwash this week and all will be forgiven. He's going in for a check up on Saturday, maybe he's feeling anxious.

I was shocked when I found out that you were a closet blogger! I'm surprised that you were able to keep it a secret for a month, but now everybody will know!! MUHAHAHAHA!
"One time, Jill..." - is this what inspired the title of your blog? ;)
Oh, and to get titles for your entries, just go into the settings for your blog, go under "Formatting", and select "yes" for "Show Title Field". You definitely need post titles :p
Wait... it just started with "Jill..." didn't it?
What? well apparently I wont be your first commentor now cuz Vince went ahead and RUINED that!!
I was gonna ask does your truck have a name?? or are you just going to call him truck. I think you should name him Chuck. Chuck rhymes with truck. Also, I believe it was Mr Hatfield's first name, and he was pretty cool.
Titles--done
Blog title--it was an original thought, although it did remind me of the TLC shows "A baby story", "A wedding story" and "a dating story". This one is mine and it's not like anyone else's!
Truck name? I never liked the idea of naming my truck, but then I was finding that I wanted to call it something other than "my truck" so then I decided to shorten it and affectionately know it as Truck. Rob I did think of Chuck actually, and it seemed okay, but I can't handle the idea of giving it an actual name. So my truck will be Truck, I was thinking of making Tracy's car Sister Car (like Sister Bear, not like the nuns) but I'm undecided on how I will reference the Grand Am. Sorry Rob, I should have given you warning that I was letting Vince in on the secret.
Rob can you figure out why I picked this ready made template? Actually Vince might see it too. If you get it I'll give you a cookie!
24!!!
The road? Wait, how are you going to get me the cookie even if I win?....
Yes Rob, it was the subtle 24 that sold me on this one. I owe you a cookie.
